| Details: | Talked with Jane over the phone to alert Jane that e-coli was triggered at 2 sources, both the spring and the spring house and that a Do Not Drink the water notice would have to be issued. The boil water notice would not suffice as it could make the nitrates more concentrated and/or could confuse the residents into thinking that the water would be okay to use now as it was not allowed to be used prior to the e-coli alert. Jane is aware that she would have to take 5 confirmation samples at the spring and to inform DWS of the letter sent out to residents. |
