| Details: | SUMMARY: Met with City Council to review status of well supply project DETAILS: Met with Mayor Stan Horrell and City Council to review status of project. Mayor and City Council are all new (with one exception) since Jan 1. Anderson-Perry Engineers are now in charge of the project. Wells have been completed since November 2006, and remaining work includes well pump equipment, transmission line, and iron/manganese treatment. Iron levels in the wells vary from 6-14 mg/l so I reviewed that treatment may be complicated and expensive. Project will not be completed by May 30 deadline, so Council instructed to submit letter to DWP documenting project status and revised schedule. ACTION NEEDED: City Council to submit Request for Extension to Administrative Order since project will not be completed by May 30, 2007. | ||
