| Details: | Corinne and I spoke on March 13 about the most recent DBP results which will cause another MCL violation. Not sure why the new activated carbon filter did not do the trick, unless the media has already reached its capacity in the last 4 months. It's possible that the filter/media was undersized for the task. Today I emailed Corinne and Lynne Leisy (who usually writes their DBP public notices) the public notice template and the links to the current DBP results. I asked them to submit a copy to me as soon as possible so I can get it logged in as received since I am leaving soon. I also asked for an update on the replacement of their storage tanks (five 2500-gal poly tanks installed in the late 1980's that may have been new septic tanks instead, not intended to receive above-ground UV exposure - one tank exploded last year). So far, two of the five tanks have been replaced. They are not sure whether they will replace the rest and will decide this summer. |
