| Details: | SUMMARY: Lisa called to report a positive bacti sample taken 2/13/07 and reported 2/15/07 DETAILS: Lisa reported that the chlorine residual was 1.0 ppm at the time the sample was drawn. She thought the problem might be from a poor sample location. The routine for February is located at the service building lunch room sink. Evidently this sink is used for dish washing and storing soiled dishes. The faucet does not have an aerator and water is run for 3-5 minutes. I suggested taking a look at the sampling plan in more detail and updating the plan to include better sampling sites if possible. I suggested that they swab the faucet with alcohol prior to drawing the sample. ACTION NEEDED: Lisa will draw 4 repeat samples ASAP today and report results to Linn County. | ||
