| Details: | Their operator, Vic Lindsay, is no longer employed there. Corinne is the manager at resort and wanted to know what they need to do to keep the system operating properly. There is still one person who has done the daily monitoring when Vic was away before. Corinne, Casey Lyon, and I had a phone conference. I followed up with a lengthy email about short term tasks (daily treatment monitoring, replacing the chlorine solution, etc.) and the status of their system in the bigger compliance picture. They are transitioning to surface water treatment for their fecally contaminated sources. Although compliant cartridge filters are in place, they are overdue for: completing the plan review process, making plumbing changes to allow the Circuit Rider to do the tracer studies, and learning how to complete the surface water treatment monthly form (turbidity, pH, temp, etc.). They need to find a DRC with adequate certifications (WT1, WD1) soon. Also suggested that they could apply for a SIPP grant to hire an engineering firm to do a feasibility study of how to streamline this system which is rather hodge-podge, complicated and wastes treated water and electricity. The Circuit Rider can help with that funding application as well. I will change the system contact to Corinne. | ||
