| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive total coliform routine sample 9/10/07, repeats collected 9/12/07. DETAILS: I received an alert today for a routine total coliform positive sample collected 9/10/07 at Jerry Boldens kitchen faucet. Jerry reported the chlorine residual at the time of sample collection was 0.4 mg/L. He thinks he may have touched the inside of the sample bottle lid which may have caused the positive result. He collected the required 4 repeat samples today (initial location, upstream, downstream and other). He turned up the chlorine injection setting on the pump as well. I told him to call if any of the repeats were positive and to collect the required 5 routines samples in October. ACTION NEEDED: Await results of repeat samples. | ||
