| Details: | SUMMARY: Special coliform samples done for plate count. Treatment supplier to inspect equipment. DETAILS: Magic Valley Laboratory had results for duplicate samples taken 10/3, done by Colisure and MF for plate count. Out of 4 sites, only the Mirage Café was coliform negative.Even that sample had a high count of non-coliform bacteria. The other 3 sites were all total coliform positive and ranged from 164 c/100 ml with a chlorine residual of 0.16 mg/l to too numerous to count with a chlorine residual of 0.08 mg/l. Greg Fisher of Filtration Technology was contacted 208-867-6384. He had replaced the polyphosphate injection pump a few months ago, but wasnt sure if it is set up correctly. The polyphosphate treatment is supposed to help with penetration of biofilms so the chlorination is effective. ACTION NEEDED: Greg Fisher will inspect the treatment equipment on 10/9. | ||
