Details:	SUMMARY: Equipment Recommendations Assistance DETAILS: I spoke with the owner and operator about their system performance, problems they have experienced and potential for system growth. The system does not have physical room to expand, so it is unlikely that additional connections will be added. The current water production of 10 gpm has so far proven adequate, even during peak summer months. I inspected the existing system components and I agree with the owner and operator regarding replacement of the mixing/flocc tanks, pressure filters and bag filters. I measured the existing equipment and the space within the treatment building. I also recorded the sizes of the backwash pump, backwash flow control, booster pump and interconnecting pipe work. A basic equipment layout drawing will be provided to the owner. I have researched pressure filters, bag filters and small membrane systems for 10 to 20 gpm. I contacted approximately 5 manufacturer representatives requesting product information and components or system pricing. Additionally I have requested product information and pricing for bag/cartridge filters capable of meeting Stage 2 Long Term Enhanced Surface Water Treatment Rule. A simple schematic and product information will be provided to system after the necessary information and pricing is received. ACTION NEEDED: None at this time.
