| Details: | Matt operated the clearwell at lower levels than historically most of the time in 2020. The tank was not cleaned a second time. Lower levels did not succeed in consistently keeping TTHM below the MCL as noted by the most recent result. Thus, a combination of approaches may be necessary: reduce total organic carbon load by putting slow sand filter online, keep clearwell volume low, consider another cleaning of the clearwell, and consider adding a downstream storage tank before which chlorination is moved that provides sufficient CT yet does not chlorinate the large volume in the current clearwell. | ||
