| Details: | Forwarded E.coli letter and conformation samples results to Brandi and left a voice message letting her know to please read the letter carefully from the state drinking water program and select at least one of the 4 options listed. I had also asked her to please let me know if she had completed the level 2 investigation from Monday 6/15. I told her that they will need to install treatment for 4-log disinfection and remain sampling monthly. I will continue to update this contact report if any new information is provided and leave the boil water advisory banner in red on SIDWS unless notified to remove it by the state drinking water program. Dan called me back this afternoon from Oregon Drinking Water Service and is planning on pulling the pump out of well and inspecting the casing while filling out the Level 2 Investigation form. Once this is figured out he will shock chlorinate the well and all distribution lines and will resample well and all distribution sample points early next week and go from there. Will leave boil water notice in place. He is concerned because this is the only well they have access to at this time. If needed he will have a new well drilled, but for now will try to take the steps mentioned above. |
