| Details: | SUMMARY: alert total coliform DETAILS: Spoke with Tana today regarding the recent total coliform present sample taken 12/3/08. She said there was some recent work done to the water system that might have contributed to this result. She said well #2 recently had a new pump, motor as well as new plumbing installed. Her father has also recently turned on well #3 to feed the system. This well #3 has not been approved, nor is it on SDWIS inventory as being an approved source. We discussed the need to take four repeat samples, she is working to have that done asap. She also mentioned that her father and a plumber shocked the system over the weekend. I also mentioned that 5 routines will need to be taken Jan 2009 as well. I mentioned they will need to go the through plan review process to get well #3 approved for use in a public drinking water system. She will try to get a well log and discuss this with her father. ACTION NEEDED: take four repeat samples asap, five routines next month. Submit plan review packet for use of well #3. | ||
