| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive E. coli DETAILS: On 9/26/08 the routine coliform sample was reported to be positive. The four repeat samples collected on 9-27-08 were all positive including one being positive for e.coli. Subsequently Robert posted a boil water notice on 9-29-08. A copy is being mailed to Clatsop County HHS> On 9-29-08 he also super chlorinated the well and the reservoir. I directed Bob to collect three samples for coliform analysis at various points in the system after the chlorine level has dropped to normal. We also discussed recording the chlorine levels on the coliform test forms. ACTION NEEDED: We will keep the system on a boil water notice until coliform samples come back clear. | ||
