Details: | Alex, Follow up samples are 3 repeat samples. The 3 samples are 1. original location 2. upstream location 3. downstream location I am not sure if you have to do a source sample or not. Please check this site https://yourwater.oregon.gov/schedulescoliform.php?pwsno=95569 or if I find out i will let you know. Second question Why is the chlorine reported at 4.0 ppm everyday? This should vary everyday. Can you send me the information on what test kit you are using? how you are reading it? Any detectable level 0.2 ppm or higher is acceptable. Normal drinking water chlorine levels are 0.4 to 1.0 ppm. Coliform bacteria in a chlorine residual system is rare but does happen. Third Question I wanted to make sure you received your letter from the Drinking Water Program that informed you that your coliform testing is now required on a monthly basis. Please let me know that you received this letter and understand your responsibilities. |
