Details:	SUMMARY: Filter Installation Issues DETAILS: The Rainbow Rock Village MHP owns and operates a Ground Water, under the influence of Surface Water system, which supplies approximately 200 people through 50 connections. The CWS treats water from the wells adjacent to Taylor Creek. The treatment system is a pressure filter. HBH was contacted by Bill Randall when they were in the process of installing a new filter. The primary contact issues were a verification of the sizing of a backwash pump. I reviewed sizing of existing backwash pump. Determined an upsized pump would be required for proper backwash (due to larger filter). Also recommended that a gate value be added to manual backwash system to allow for a more gradual “ramping up” of the backwash process. ACTION NEEDED: None at this time.
