| Details: | SUMMARY: Water Treatment Plant Inspection DETAILS: Finished water treatment plant inspection started on previous visit. Noted that turbidity meter inlet needs to be plumbed immediately after filter housings where flow combines to one pipe. Recommended plumbing change to include moving hypochlorite addition from dead end into main pipe. If that does not increase chlorine residual in distribution system, suggested increasing dosage of hypochlorite. Obtain filters with lower nominal pore size. Use HBH circuit rider to conduct tracer study. Get analysis of ozone concentration in effluent from last storage tank. ACTION NEEDED: Replumb turbidity tap, pre-hypochlorite tap, test for change. Have tracer study conducted. Measure ozone concentration. | ||
