| Details: | SUMMARY: Response to TC + in June DETAILS: Ed called on 7/1/09 to report that two routines taken on 6/29/09 came back total coliform positive, one taken near the DVWD office, and one near the Prison tank. I stated that this was a total coliform MCL for June, Public Notice distributed to all customers, with copy to DWP. DVWD took two sets of 3 repeats each for each routine on 7/2/09. All six repeats came negative on 7/6. Area in the vicinity of the two positives -served by 3 Metolius Tanks, Gateway, Plains, and prison tanks-chlorinated and flushed during the week of 7/6 - 7/10. Special samples taken at the Metolius tanks was coliform absent. Ed was not aware of any work in the vicinity of the two positives that would have contributed. ACTION NEEDED: DVWD to continue to sample in the area of the positives. DWP to provide support to DVWD if total coliform problems persist. | ||
