| Details: | SUMMARY: Coliform follow up DETAILS: Bob mentioned he took 4 special samples in the distribution that were all Positive. He feels the water reservoir is the source of the contamination and thinks it did not get disinfected adequately. He is going to disinfect the tank again and take 4 more repeat samples. I asked him to take source water samples from each well to rule out a source water issue. Bob agreed and said he would take the source samples. I also mentioned getting the storage tank on a more frequent inspection and cleaning schedule. We also discussed providing a continuous chlorine residual if the source water has no detections. Bob said he provided a public notice and is keeping the water users aware of the ongoing intervention. I asked Bob to provide me a copy of the public notice and he said he would email it to me. ACTION NEEDED: Follow up on tank disinfection and repeat test results. | ||
