Heavily flushed the distribution system.
8 repeat samples yesterday (Thursday) that came back negative:
-- 3 at the active wellheads,
-- 1 at the other end of the water system,
-- 2 at Wednesdays FC+ taps, and
-- 1 downstream of the both the FC+ taps.
Larry then chlroinated the reservoir with 2 ppm and held for 4 hours.
Inspected and replaced screen on the reservoir. (There was nothing but sediment inside the reservoir.)

Once all the chlorine is out of the distribution today, he plans to take 8 more special samples at similar locations, save the wellheads. Once those coliform results get returned Saturday morning, and if they are negative, Steve Dahl plans to lift the Boil Order.

In retrospect, no possible cause could be identified. It could have been a false alarm based on sampling error, but we may never know now. ACTION NEEDED: None.
