| Details: | SUMMARY: New System Technical Assistance DETAILS: System is newly formed and is operating the Layng Creek WTP previously operated by the City of Cottage Grove. The System and the city are in a transition phase until the WD takes over the fulltime operation of the WTP. Siemens 100 gpm membrane treatment plant is in the planning stage with initial construction anticipated later this year. The Layng Creek plant will continue to operate and provide water to the 96 users until the membrane plant is on line and operating successfully. I will assist the WD in development of its coliform sampling plan, Cross Connection enabling authority, ERP and O&M Manuel. I reviewed the purpose and contents of the coliform sampling plan, ERP, Cross Connection enabling authority and O&M Manual. I also discussed WTP operation and general district responsibilities as a PWS and proposed meeting with the water board to answer questions and provide basic information on PWS operations. I conducted an in depth review of the ERP and left Jim a copy of the ERP to complete. ACTION NEEDED: I will send drafts of the coliform sampling plan and Cross Connection enabling authority to the district first and meet with the board in the near future. I will review the ERP and comment. I will review the O&M procedures that the City of Cottage Grove has passed on to the PWS and comment | ||
