| Details: | I called Ms. Adler to talk to her about the overdue nitrate monitoring. I confirmed receipt of the warning letter mailed the prior week and she mentioned she had forgotten to collect the sample. I stated that OHA's next step in the enforcement process would be to assess a civil penalty but emphasized this is never the agency's goal and that it is easier and less costly for everyone if monitoring is reported in cases like this. Ms. Adler said she would collect the sample this afternoon. I thanked Ms. Adler for her time and said it would be great if the sample was collected any time in the next couple of days. | ||
