Details: | Left voicemail and sent e-mail: "Hi Tony: This is a follow up to the voice mail I left earlier today: It looks like there is still total coliform showing up consistently in the distribution samples—getting a handle on the TC will save hassle and money in repeat sampling! Increasing the chlorine may help get this under control; you can go up to 1.0 ppm to see what happens. At this time we are seeing chlorine residuals of 0.1-0.2 ppm. Once the TC testing is consistently clear, you can reduce chlorine a bit. A Level 2 investigation has been triggered because of the positive tests—please get back to me so we can talk about it. It looks like there hasn’t been a source sample for over a year. Please be sure to get that submitted per schedule. The violation points are stacking up. Once the system accumulates 11 points, enforcement action may be taken at the state level. Getting the total coliform under control and catching up with required testing will help that score. Please give me a call or e-mail with questions, or if you want to meet to see what can be done to get back on track. Thanks.
