| Details: | SUMMARY: Action level for Copper exceeded DETAILS: Lead & Copper samples were collected on 9/09/2009 and the 90th% level for Copper is 1.58 mg/l. The system has exceeded the Copper Action Level for a number of years, but further action was pending the completion of the filtration project. Furthermore, the water supply at the time of sampling was ~50% well water with polyphosphate treatment, mixing with the surface supply. The City will take samples for water quality parameters, including pH, alkalinity, calcium, and conductivity. Two samples will be taken at distribution taps, and one sample at the entry point. ACTION NEEDED: Water quality parameters to be sampled in November and July. | ||
