| Details: | I visited Cove Palisades - Deschutes Campground today and met with Todd Honeywell, Park Manager. On 7-28-2020, a source assessment on Well #1 was positive for E. coli. Well #2 was positive for total coliform. The confirmation samples taken on 7-31-2020 resulted in Well #1 positive for E.coli and Well #2 was positive for total coliform. In 2012, the system had the same situation and went on a 4-log disinfection course. So on 7-5-2020, this system will start 4-log verification. They are instructed to keep a minimal PPM of 0.5ppm Cl2. Future communication will result in a time-frame for the recording of the residuals. |
