| Details: | SUMMARY: VOC alert DETAILS: 7/10/09 Tetrachloroethylene level exceeded and on 8/24/09 the MCL for tetrachloroethylene was exceeded. Joe Woody, operator, was contacted and we discussed the need for ongoing quarterly sampling. If the average results of the sampling over the next 4 quarters exceeds the MCL, treatment must be pursued and installed in the system. A public notice was issued. Caroline Gross-Regan did a site visit to evaluate the testing location. The samples had been taken from a swivel faucet in the kitchen and she advised to change the location to the girls bathroom faucet. No potential VOC sources of contamination were noted in the area. ACTION NEEDED: Continue quarterly sampling. Sampling schedule will be re evaluated in October, 2010 | ||
