Details:	SUMMARY: Iron Removal Assistance DETAILS: The Riverbend-Riverbank Community, which consists of a few housing developments with a total of 80 connections that serving just over 200 people, contacted HBH with the request for assistance with adding polyphosphate to remove iron from the drinking water. I reviewed the appropriate using of polyphosphate for sequestering elemental iron in drinking water. Providing water system with information regarding levels of iron at which polyphosphate addition may be useful. Visited the water system facility to determine possible location for a chemical feed system and/or a water filtration system. Water system subsequently reported that the iron levels were below the level that required treatment. ACTION NEEDED: None needed at this time.
