| Details: | SUMMARY: Copper testing DETAILS: The water system had gone through a water study with Black & Beach and I was wondering what would be done about the high copper. Tests were taken 3/10/10 and results was varied by site. I questioned the operator and it seems at the sites the reported high copper levels proper pretest flushing was not followed. Samples were pulled after the sites being vacant and no water usage for an extended period of time. ACTION NEEDED: Follow proper pretest flushing of the system. Samples are scheduled for testing on 3/9/10 and results should be available in 2 weeks. Consult with operator at that time. Give operator information of systems that use orthophosphate for pH control and corrosion control. Operator will looking into additional water sources and even a possibility of a surface water source. | ||
