Well is properly constructed so there does not appear to be a need to require disinfection. However, this is a very deep well (594 ft) therefore, if the pump isnt set at a depth that engages water at the bottom of the hole, it could promote bacterial growths unassociated with fecal contamination. So treatment for residual maintenance purposes may be reasonable.

Well draws water from a deep confined layered basalt aquifer. Due to the confined nature of the aquifer and the adequate well construction, this well would qualify for a waiver from construction standards with respect to sanitary setbacks. ACTION NEEDED: None.
