| Details: | SUMMARY: Routine sample taken July 8 total coliform positive DETAILS: The sample was taken at 403 Main which is the home of Woody Wireman (541-372-5356) who is the assistant water system operator. The sample tap is a freezeless faucet which has been used before, but also resulted in a positive sample in October 2009. There was a chlorine residual of 0.9 mg/l taken with a digital meter. Only Well 4 is being used, but the city is on watering restrictions now (every other day). I also discussed the issues with Shannon Snyder, City Recorder. She indicated that the City Council is frustrated that the water project to connect the new well is proceeding very slowly. ACTION NEEDED: 5 Repeat samples to be taken week of July 12, including a source sample at Well 4. | ||
