| Details: | SUMMARY: CT Tracer Study DETAILS: The City owns and operates a surface water system that provides water to 3,100 people through 1,600 connections. Raw water from springs and Elk Creek is treated by a slow sand filter treatment plant. Disinfection is through the addition of gaseous chlorine. A large reservoir acts as storage and the contact vessel prior to first user. HBH was contacted by the City to provide assistance with a contact tracer study to determine the amount of contact time in the system before the first user. I visited the system to discuss the method by which to conduct the contact tracer study. ACTION NEEDED: Develop methodology for the testing, coordinate with DWP personnel and perform tracer testing. | ||
