| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive fecal coliform DETAILS: spoke to operator following positive result. He immediately took the 5 repeat samples required. Three of which came back positive. Operator will need to do the following: Shock wells. Bump up chlorine residual to 0.5-1.0ppm. Fill out compliance monitoring paperwork to determine coliform times. Switch to new chlorine injection system ( do not take raw water samples until this is done). Add a coliform sample site next to the Creamery. Wait on results regarding well construction. This should be in the next 1-2 weeks. Be sure to mark location on all samples. ACTION NEEDED: none | ||
