| Details: | SUMMARY: Phone message to take four samples from the system. DETAILS: 3/25/11 I spoke with Mike about what he thought the cause of the positive coliform was. He said they recently opened the valves between well 19 and 21 so they would be connected to the system. They had treated the system before use with peroxyacetic acid. They got positive coliform results so they treated it again. They tested both wells and discovered that well 21 was the positive well so they have closed it off from the system. Mike said someone told him it is only 25 deep but the well log says it is 205 feet deep. There are cracks around the concrete pad and it needs to be repaired. He said he will just leave it off until the repairs have been made and the well has been tested. ACTION NEEDED: Take 4 repeat samples and 5 routine samples next month. | ||
