| Details: | Jake notified the DWS after hours phone about a repeat total coliform positive sample collected on October 9th that followed a routine coliform positive on the 8th. I spoke to him on Monday October 12th. He had already performed a coliform investigation. He suspects the tap at 827 SE Lyle St is problematic and not represent water in mainline since upstream and downstream repeat samples were absent. We discussed sample invalidation. Sample invalidation was then discussed with DMCE. On October 13th, I informed Jake that the sample invalidation request was approved. He will select a replacement site and collect a routine sample before the end of the month. The city's sampling plan will also be updated to reflect the change in sites. - M. Byrd |
