| Details: | SUMMARY: OERS Incident 2012-0363 DETAILS: The City of Newport reported the ongoing release of 600,000 gal/day of drinking water into Yaquina Bay due to a water main break. Further investigation revealed a crack in a T to an air relief valve standpipe. The main has been isolated and the crack is being repaired. The main will then be flushed, disinfected and sampled for coliform prior to being put back in service. ACTION NEEDED: Repair, flushing, disinfection and coliform sampling | ||
