| Details: | SUMMARY: Discussed installing arsenic treatment DETAILS: I spoke with Mayor Mark Douglas regarding installation of the arsenic treatment system for the City. He stated that the financing process has been taking a long time as the process runs its course and as the IFA worked to decide what would be the most appropriate funding mechanism. I explained that there are other water systems that applied for SRF loans in 2009 or 2010 still waiting for funds, and that its not unique to Paisley. We discussed a new agreement with dates projecting installation of a treatment system in summer and compliance with the MCL several months later. Mark also mentioned that they need to hire an engineer as the plans submitted originally were required to be sent by a licensed engineer, but it is required through the SRF process. ACTION NEEDED: Draft and sign a new agreement. | ||
