Details:	SUMMARY: Follow up on acquiring ceritified operator DETAILS: I consulted with Phil White via email today regarding Midlands status of acquiring an operator at the level required for the treatment plant (WT-2 with a Filtration Endorsement). Phil (currently a WT-1) indicated he has contacted DWP to sit for the WT-2 test in June. If he passes it, he will take the Filtration Endorsement exam in August or September. ACTION NEEDED: DWP to closely follow Midlands progress toward acquiring a certified treatment operator. DWP to schedule a treatment plant inspection for sometime this summer to further confirm system operators are demostrating knowledge of operating the surface water plant, and convey importance of acquiring a certified operator for the plant.
