Details: 11.18.20 - Completed a L2 investigation.

11.20.20 - Copy of the L2 investigation sent to Operator and to DWS office.

Possible reasons idientified for the resent positive total coliform sample:

-The system is no longer pouring chlorine down the well on a regular basis. This practice may have been masking an existing bacteriological problem existing in the source. Aquifer sensitivity is high.

-The UV treatment system was out of service when the sample was collected. A new system is being installed.

-One of the bladder pressure tanks was waterlogged. The operator confirmed during the L2 investigation that there was stagnant water inside one of the pressure tanks. Pressure tanks will be repalced.

-There are two old cartridge filters that have been poorly maintained. Without regular maintenance, there could be bacterial growth inside the cartridge that may be leaking out with the discharged water.

Storage tanks installed in May, 2020 need approval from the DWS. Provided plan review information. Operator will cotnact DWS Plan Review office.
