| Details: | 12.03.20 - An email was sent to the operator with the following requirements: 1. A Triggered sample is still needed. A triggered sample should have been collected when the system had the positive total coliform sample on October 29th. This sample should be collected at the wellhead, prior to UV disinfection system. Collecting and reporting this sampler will RTC the nonreporting violation. 2. The system remains on a monthly coliform sampling schedule. Thus, there is no need to collect temporary routine samples in December. The next RT sample must be collected in December. The recent issues with the system have reset the clock for getting off monthly coliform sampling. To go back to quarterly sampling the system will have to: 1. Collect monthly water samples and report them in time for the next 12 consecutive months. The month of November is considered as Month 1. 2. A site visit within that 12 months period is required. However, because I recently completed a L2 investigation in November that does count for that site visit requirement, BUT only if the system meets their collection for the next 11 consecutive months. |
