| Details: | SUMMARY: Notification of failure to meet EP chlorine residual for short time DETAILS: Russ called to notify me that their chlorine analyzer (which drives the chlorine injection into finished water) had an electrical failure yesterday. As a result the chlorine residual at the entry point fell slightly below the required 0.20 mg/l minimum (0.17 mg/l) for approximately 20 minutes. He will note the occurance on his monthly SW Monitoring report. The equipment has been repaired and the chlorine residual at the entry point is above the 0.2 mg/l minimum. ACTION NEEDED: Due to the limited duration of the lowered chlorine, and the fact that it was only marginally below 0.2 mg/l, no further action is required at this time. | ||
