| Details: | Kamela called to report confirmed E. coli in the distribution. She mentioned E. coli and TC were also detected in the well. The WS is issuing a boil water advisory and will be contacting the 10 homes and 2 RVs that are connected. She said they have already started the shock chlorination process on the well. I informed her that once the shock chlorination process is completed and all traces of chlorine removed, the WS needs to collect 5 confirmation samples directly from the well to determine if the well is contaminated with E. coli. I also informed Kamela that the WS is now required to install an approved disinfection system. | ||
