Details: SUMMARY: Request for resources on disinfecting a well DETAILS: They will be pulling the pump on Well #1 to do maintenance this week, and Duane wanted to be prepared to disinfect the well afterwards. I emailed him our DWS tech bulletin on Well Disinfection, and the worksheet for system shock chlorination from the Advanced Small Water System operators course. I looked up the well log and determined the height and volume of water column to be disinfected, sending that to him as well. I suggested he collect a special coliform sample after the maintenance and disinfection are complete. ACTION NEEDED: No follow up actions anticipated
