| Details: | Scott called to inform me that his triggered source sample had come back with a positive E coli and the distribution samples were positive with total coliform. I instructed him to issue a boil water notice, take 5 follow up source samples from the spring, then he can shock system and resample. I emailed him a copy of the boil water notice template and asked him to send me a copy when he has it completed. Scott had Hillsboro pump come out there and their staff member observed a second springhead that no one knew about. They are considering that this could be a cause of contamination. | ||
