| Details: | SUMMARY: Field survey response at request of the water system DETAILS: System has an E. coli sample result on 7/10/14. The system was required to take additional samples on 7/11/14. At the request of the system, I went out to assist in the sample collection and take a preliminary look for any signs of possible contamination. I met with Kevin and Mel Locke (from the processing plant). A sample was collected at the hand washing station inside the packing plant and 5 confirmation samples were collected from the well. The well building was clean and the wellhead was not damaged. I did recommend the system have a bottled water supplier on stand-by in the event any of the samples were positive. ACTION NEEDED: Samples were dropped off at the lab on Friday morning. The results will be available on Saturday. Additional action will be based on the results. | ||
