Details: | SUMMARY: problem faxing plus update on treatment installation DETAILS: Emma called to says she is still getting only a busy signal when trying to fax in the repeated 90-day public notice to our office in Portland. She also gets a busy signal when phoning Brad Daniels. Because it was successfully faxed to my office a couple days ago, I told her she would be credited as turning the notice in on time. Meanwhile, I asked her for an update on the schedule to install the arsenic treatment equipment. They continue to have problems with the company they bought the equipment through - most recently, the wrong-sized day tanks were delivered - but still hope to have it installed by end of April 2015. The deadline in our current BCA is to have it installed by the end of June 2015, and be back in compliance with water quality standards by 12/31/15. So they still have time. ACTION NEEDED: Inform Portland office of the phone connection problem, though I could reach one of these numbers, so not sure it is a problem for others. Emma does need a resolution to be able to communicate with our Portland office and submit notices on time, however. |
