Details: | SUMMARY: Total coliform positive routine sample taken 4-14-15 DETAILS: I received a call from Chris Alexander with the Boring Water District No. 24 who said that a routine sample taken yesterday was total coliform positive. He said that he had taken 3 repeat samples (one at the same site, one upstream, and one downstream of the original postive sample site) and was headed to the lab. I explained that they also needed to take a triggered source sample from each of the three wells currently in use (SRC-B Well #2 Marx Well, SRC-C Well #3 282nd Well, and SRC-D Well #4 Telford). This is required since they serve over 1,000 people (they serve 1,625), even though they do not disinfect. Chris said he would drop off the distribution samples at the lab since they were near there and take the source samples. I sent him a link to the FAQ page regarding sampling under the Groundwater Rule (http://public.health.oregon.gov/HealthyEnvironments/DrinkingWater/Rules/GWR/Pages/triggeredfaq.aspx). ACTION NEEDED: System to take 3 source triggered samples in addition to the 3 repeat distribution samples and contact Joel Ferguson with Clackamas County once the test results are known. | ||
