| Details: | SUMMARY: Boil water DETAILS: Spoke with John about routine E. coli positive on July 7th followed by 3 repeat total coliform positive samples on July 8th. He has distributed boil notices to residents. He added 9 gallons of 8 percent household bleach to 75,000 gallon reservoi (~1 ppm). We discussed increasing dose to ensure adequate disinfection over the weekend (4 ppm for ~16 hrs). Before boil notice is lifted, system must be zero chlorine and additional samples need to be coliform absent. He will contact John Zalaznik at the county health department on Monday. ACTION NEEDED: Follow-up on additional sampling to lift boil water. | ||
