| Details: | SUMMARY: TC Positive Alert Response DETAILS: Received alert for a TC positive result from routine sample collected on 9/22/15. The other four routine samples tested absent. Spoke with Traci. Reviewed follow-up sample requirements of three repeat samples plus one triggered source sample from the tap at the well head. Traci also mentioned that she discovered that the five lead and copper samples collected on 8/24/15 were all collected from the same tap. If that was the case, the minimum standing time of six hours could not have been met for all five samples. I explained that they needed to be from either cold water taps in restrooms or break rooms, and that the water must stand unused for at least six hours before the samples are collected. Traci plans to resample for lead and copper following the guidelines next Monday morning, 9/28/15. ACTION NEEDED: System to collect follow-up coliform samples, resample for lead and copper. Further actions will be based on those results. | ||
