| Details: | SUMMARY: Repeat +TC DETAILS: Pat reported Thursday that the repeat sample collected on 1/6/16 from 3995 Pleasantview was positive for total coliform (absent for E. coli). All other repeats and triggered well samples collected on 1/6/16 were absent. The rules require systems to continue taking 3 repeats until all are absent for coliform or until the MCL for total coliform is violated (i.e. more than 5.0% of monthly samples are positive for total coliform). The system will collect 3 more repeat samples today. ACTION NEEDED: Will wait for results of repeat samples (available Friday 1/8/16) and respond accordingly. UPDATE: Brandon from Keizer notifed us Friday 1/8/16 that all 3 repeats collected yesterday were absent. No further action is required at this time. Note: system is aware that no more than 5.0% of monthly samples (consisting of both routines and repeats) can be total coliform positive. There have been 3 positives this month which means a total of at least 60 samples for the month must be absent to avoid a total coliform MCL violation. | ||
