| Details: | SUMMARY: follow up to FC+ repeat samples DETAILS: The water system has been on a boil water notice since the initial E. coli positive sample was received on 11/10/17. Four repeat samples and one triggered source sample were collected on 11/13/17. Two of the repeat samples were E. coli positive. The source sample was absent for bacteria. In speaking with the operator, there has been no change in operations. System has naturally occuring ammonia in the water that is using up the available chlorine. Free chlorine has been measured to be between 0.4 (at the beginning) to .04 at the end of the line. The storage tank has been checked several times to ensure the contamination was not coming from it. ACTION NEEDED: System to remain on the boil notice until 5 clean samples are received from the distribution system. The operator is planning on same day shipping samples to the lab tomorrow (11/16/17). | ||
