| Details: | SUMMARY: Response to Complaint About Loss of Pressure DETAILS: Received complaint (12/7) via State DWP regarding lack of water at one home on system. Made contact with operator (12/8). He stated that they had a mainline break this week and 5 residents were affected. All of these residents called into the office and were aware of mainline break. Residents were without water intermittently for 2 days due to failure of initial fixes to line. Section of the pipe was replaced and system was fully functional again on 12/8. Operator disinfected the problem area with chlorine. He also did his tests to make certain there was a chlorine residual. I advised him that after a loss of pressure event, he needs to ensure that all residents flush their lines before water use. ACTION NEEDED: Spoke with complainant and their water is running again. Operator will take coliform sample and submit it as "special". | ||
