Details: | SUMMARY: Sig Def and LT2 sampling updates DETAILS: Chris phoned to say that two more significant deficiencies were taken care of a couple weeks ago, and he has been working with a benchtop turbidimeter that will enable him to conduct a filter profile. He will email me the proposed date (Feb 2) to address that final significant deficiency. They have a new pH meter (and standards) and pocket chlorimeter, which they said is working much better than the wheel. Both Chris and Carlos are preparing for the Level 1 Treatment Exam. Their DRC, Don Bryant, has let them know that he is retiring and will no longer be their DRC. They are not sure where they can find another Level 2 Operator to serve until one of them has enough time worked to advance. We also discussed the December 2017 LT2 results - UPS did not deliver the first sample collected that month to the lab in time to process. So Chris took an extra sample at the end of December. I let him know that if they are ever going to have a problem meeting the due dates, he should call me right away to see whether we can reschedule the date rather than missing an entire two-week period. The rescheduled date cannot be during the same week as another sample is due. ACTION NEEDED: Update the significant deficiency status. Add one date to the LT2 schedule for October 2018 (because they missed the first sample due this year). |
